If you have read Doorsteps of Hell, you have most likely noticed that at the end of each chapter there is a recap, a Lesson Learned. There are many, many more such lessons learned embedded in the vignettes. Tom has had such positive response to these lessons that he is now publishing Lessons Learned as a series of separate hip pocket booklets, as well as digital options.  This hip pocket booklet will be particularly useful for active-duty small unit leaders to use for extemporaneous training while in the field.
